William Koenke Obituary William David Koenke, 74, of Garrison and Sun City, AZ, passed away at his home on Monday, January 24, 2022. A Celebration of the Koenke Brothers - Bill, Fred and Jim - will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2022, at Light of the Cross Lutheran Church in Garrison. A luncheon at the VFW will follow. Bill was born September 7, 1947, in St. Paul, MN, the son of Vincent and Mary Ann (Pankake) Koenke. After graduating from high school, Bills entrepreneurial spirit took over. He was always looking for ways to help people whether owning a laundromat and car wash, being a handyman, or dabbling in real estate investments. Bill truly wanted to make things better and was always put other people first. He loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends. Bill will be dearly missed for his big smile and even bigger heart. He is survived by his sisters, Etta Carrozza and Cynthia Duff; brother, John Koenke; nieces, Jennifer Fermaint, Lisa Koenke, Suzanne Duff, and Angela Zarras; and nephews, Michael "John" George, Troy Koenke, Carson Koenke, Michael Duff, and Marshall Koenke. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred, Jim, and Vincent "Pete" Koenke and his parents.
