Ardelle Fern Boelter, age 90, died on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Hills Crossing Senior Living in Nisswa.
Ardelle was born on January 21, 1931 to Henry and Ida (Brueske) Schuelke in Ida Township. She was baptized and confirmed at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Leaf Valley. In her earlier years, she attended school in Leaf Valley and moved to Alexandria where she graduated high school. She married the love of her life, Harold Boelter and together they had four children. She was a dedicated mother, and stayed home with the children while Harold was serving in the United States Air Force.
Ardelle is survived by her children, James (Shirley) Boelter, Terrence (Janice) Boelter, Janelle (Kevin) Klucas, and Karl (Kate) Boelter; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents, Henry and Ida Schueltke; brother, Marvin Schuelke; sisters, Sylvia Donner and Geraldine Hince; and great grandson, Noah Klucas.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd. A visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Interment is at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.
