Bernadine Eyman Obituary

Bernadine "Beanie" Eileen (Kuntz) Eyman

Never one to leave a party early, Beanie passed away at Edgewood Senior Living in Baxter on January 17, two days after her 99th birthday. She was the heart of her family, a sweet lady known for her cinnamon rolls, fried chicken, and ever-present smile. Many friends and family have welcomed her into Heaven including her loving husband of almost 62 years, Victor; and great grandson Caden Herr. Those remaining here on earth to celebrate her very special life are: Daughter Vicki (Tim) Carvelli; Son Richard Eyman; Granddaughter Timitra (Joe) Kelly; Grandson Christopher Carvelli (Kasandra Toivonen); and Granddaughter Julianne Carvelli. Beanie was also blessed with Great-Grandchildren Amelia and Collin Kelly; Jasmine, Nicholas, Jayna, Anthony and Gino Carvelli; and Tessa, Crosby, Clara and Weston Herr.

Born in Illinois on January 15, 1923, to Joseph Kuntz and Lillian Suter, Beanie lived on the family farm with her brother, Jerry and sister, Janet. She graduated from Strawn High School and later attended Illinois Commercial College in Champaign, Illinois. On March 8,1945 she married Victor H. Eyman in Mississippi, and they returned to Peoria, Illinois where Vic worked for 3M. Transfers took them to many places before they settled in Roseville, MN where they raised their family. In 1963 they bought their lakehome in Nisswa and later retired there. The Ilikai in Honolulu, Hawaii was a second home to them during the cold winter months. They spent many evenings listening to local musicians in some great local establishments where they met new friends from all over the world.

There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
