Brent Leonard

Brent Alan Leonard, 54, of Brainerd, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital.  Services will be held at 9:00 am, on April 16, 2022 at Bridges of Hope (2011 S 6th St Brainerd). He will be interred at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd at a later date.

Brent was born July 24, 1967, in Brainerd.  He was raised by his mom, Sharon Holst, and spent his youth getting into trouble with his older brother, Kevin.  After graduating from Brainerd High School in 1986, Brent joined the workforce. He spent many years in hospitality, mostly at Perkins in Brainerd.  Later in life, he was blessed with a son.  And even though they didn’t spend much time together, Brent loved his son.

He will be missed by his brother, Kevin (Kristen) Leonard; niece, Ellie; nephews, Sam and Kobe; friends in the community, and all of the friends who became his family at Bridges of Hope.  He was preceded in death by his mom, Sharon.
