Bruce Steward Obituary

Bruce G. Steward, 71, of Bemidji, formerly of Nisswa and Minneapolis, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. A Celebration of Bruce's Life will be held at the Pequot Lakes Baptist Church at 1:00p.m., on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Reception to follow.

Bruce was born April 20, 1952, in Minneapolis, the son of Virgil and Mary (Fetsick) Steward. He enjoyed working for many years as a salesman in the five-state area – it allowed him to meet many people and make many friends. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent many hours fishing and hunting. In 2017, Bruce and his wife, Linda moved from the Nisswa area to Cass Lake and later Bemidji to enjoy retirement.

He will be missed by his wife, Linda; daughters, Jaemie and Juenelle; stepchildren, Diana and Craig; five grandchildren; and siblings, Denny (Judy), Janet (Gordy), and Mike.
