Cynthia Jane (Hittle) Bruun, 67, of Brainerd, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Good Samaritan Village – Woodland. A Celebration of Cindy's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Nelson - Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services.

Cindy was born September 21, 1953, in Jacksonville, FL. She was adopted by John and Margaret (Ault) Hittle. After graduating from high school, Cindy married Robert Bruun. The couple were blessed with three children. Cindy enjoyed living the life of a Navy wife. She liked the travel and loved the time she was able to devote to her children. She truly was a mom who loved her family.

Cindy is survived by her children, Angela (Charles) Rolando and Adam Bruun; sister and best friend, Peggy (Brad) Frisk; sisters, Malinda Jones and Ann (Scott) Likes; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her son, Rob Bruun; husband, Robert Earl Bruun; parents; brothers, Raymond Horn and Jimmy Horn; and adoptive siblings, Judy Hittle and Danny Joe Hittle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial to the family are preferred.
