Kevin Michael Hoffman

Kevin Hoffman, age 63, of Brainerd, died on Monday, November 30, 2020 at the St. Cloud Hospital.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 11, 2021 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd.  Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to Mass.  A luncheon will follow and interment will conclude the celebration at Evergreen Memorial Garden.  The Mass will be lives-streamed for those not able to attend.  To view, visit www.blccnorth.org about 5 minutes prior to Mass.

Kevin was born in Rochester on August 30, 1957 to Hugh and Virginia (Eide) Hoffman. He shined with witty humor, which he also showed when dealing with an inherited diagnosis early in life. He could always bring a smile or laugh to those who knew him.

During his health struggles, Kevin turned to his faith, family, and friends to be his stronghold when he needed it most.

He took pleasure in nature’s wildlife and outdoor scenery was a delight to him. It was his quiet place to find healing and comfort.

Kevin’s most joy was being with “the love of his life,” Jenny (Olson) Hoffman, who preceded him in death. He also took joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children Ahnna (Jason) Wing and Anthony Hoffman; grandchildren Molly, Cameron, Dylan, and Lylia; siblings Craig (Janice) Hoffman, Kathy (Alan) Wagnild, Lori (Jim) Loisel, Kimberly Sue (Bob) Layman, Tim (Monica) Hoffman, and Nancy (Jim) Wakefield. He is also preceded in death by his parents and brother Jeff.
