Mary Zebro Obituary

Mary Dell Zebro, 91, of Brainerd, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Carefree Living.  Services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 The Cowboy Church in Ham Lake.  The family will gather with friends from 11:00 - 12:30 PM.  You will be invited to visit for a while and grab a "take-out" lunch to enjoy in your car when a outside service begins at 1:00 PM.

Mary was born May 8, 1928, in Fargo, ND the daughter of Ralph and Dorothy (Plumb) Lautzenheiser.  After graduating from Anoka High School, in 1964, Mary married the love of her life Bernard Zebro.  Most of her life, Mary was a homemaker - a job she cherished.  She was a supportive mother, encouraging grandmother and great-grandmother, and loving wife.  She was family-orientated and always had a welcoming smile to relatives and friends.  She was a social butterfly who participated in Geritol Frolics, which allowed her to show of her singing and dancing talent.  Her sewing skills were used to create Christmas stockings for her family.  Her faith was important to her and Mary was very active with Church activities.

She will be missed by her husband of 56 years, Bernard; children, Marcia Sable, Sherry (Tom) Garvey, Trudy (Greg) Blake, and Chris Zebro; step-children, Steve Zebro, Tom (Jaci) Zebro; Greg Zebro; Cathy (Jim) Murphy, Cindy (Bob) Lammi, and Pam (Brent) Harris; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Oswald and parents, Ralph and Dorothy.
