Michael Laughlin Obituary

Michael John Laughlin, 67, of Rockville, MN, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 27, 2021. A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held later this year with an interment at Pinewood Cemetery in Crosslake.

Mike was born June 17, 1953, in Minneapolis, the son of Parnell “Ted” and Janet (Heverly) Laughlin. He attended Washburn High School and the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. In 1993, he started working for Fingerhut and transferred to Wiman Corporation of Sauk Rapids when they split off in 2000. He retired in 2018 as an extrusion operator in the production department.

He is survived by his daughter, Jordan Kittlesen, of Plymouth; sisters, Linda (Jim) Zimmer, of Destin, FL, Eileen (Rob) Noblet, of Marquette, MI, and Mary (Gus) Alters, of Brainerd; brothers, Pat (Suzi) Laughlin, of Green Bay, WI, Mark (Gayle) Laughlin, of Champlin, and Jim (Lisa) Laughlin, of DeLand, FL; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
