Peggy Marie (Pint) Holsapple, 73, of Fort Ripley, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023, with her family by her side.
A Celebration of Peggy’s Life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2023, at Nelson – Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Family and friends are welcomed to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Brainerd.
Peggy was born September 6, 1949, in Little Falls, the daughter of James and Frances (Dockendorf) Pint. She grew up in Fort Ripley township in Morrison County and graduated from Little Falls High School. Peggy married Warren Holsapple on July 13, 1968, and they were blessed to raise two boys. Peggy was a hard worker and liked being the cook at Brainerd High School for 27 years before she retired.
Peggy enjoyed living on their 80 acres in Fort Ripley; she especially liked to garden. She preferred to be outdoors – camping, fishing, and or working on the farm. Whenever she finished mowing the lawn, she commented how nice it looked and then grabbed her cat and dog and took them for a golf cart ride. Most of all, Peggy was a loving and caring woman who put her family first.
Peggy will be missed by her husband of 54 ½ years, Warren; sons, Clinton (Lisa), of Laporte and Craig (Sara), of Fort Ripley; eight grandchildren, Matt (Amanda) Holsapple, Jennifer (John) Schreiner, Tayler (Shane) Holsapple, Sacha (Jeremiah) Menth, Logan (Amber) Holsapple, Samantha (Samuel) Dolan, Alex and Austin Holsapple; ten great-grandchildren, Easton, Eli, and Landon Holsapple, Emelia and Kinsley Schreiner, Aria Holmin, Theodore Menth, Lydia and Nova Holsapple, and Emily Dolan; brother, Gerald Pint, of Freedhem and sisters, Ruby Tomberlin, of Shakopee and Isabella, of Zimbrick. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and Bobby; sisters, Rosemary McCarthy, Janet Canterbury, and Geri Rudolph.
