Rhonda L. Newton, 51, of Brainerd, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022, in Pillager.
Rhonda was born September 30, 1970, in Brainerd, the daughter of Donald and Bertha (Hines) Anderson. She graduated from Brainerd High School where she was elected Prom Queen. After high school, Rhonda held various positions within the hospitality industry. She loved to be around people and those jobs were the perfect fit for her personality: She was outgoing and always up for a conversation with a stranger.
Rhonda had a talent for singing; a talent she inherited from her dad and passed along to her boys. She loved to sing country, especially Loretta Lynn’s, “Coal Miner’s Daughter”. She also liked to garden. Rhonda had a strong faith and her relationship with God was an integral part of who she was. Above all, she loved her children and grandson. The love she felt for them was unconditional.
She will be missed by her sons, Ryan (Brandi) Larson, Robert (Betzabe) Newton, Micheal (Chloe) Newton, and Christopher (Brianna) Newton; grandson, Eli Larson; siblings, Kathy Sibbert, Jim Anderson, Julie Smith, and Janelle Gassert; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Tammy Dallmann.
