Terry Larson was born February 29, 1932 in Cass Lake, Minnesota. His parents were Raymond and Loretta Larson. He had three brothers, Raymond, Charles and his twin Thomas. Terry passed away November 27, 2021.
Terry graduated from high school in 1950. He graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1954 and got his Master’s degree in 1958. He is a veteran of the Airforce. He was a teacher and the athletic director at Central Lakes College for over 30 years.
Terry was a communicator. He was a teacher, speaker, singer and would strike up a conversation with any stranger passing by and then they would not be a stranger. Terry was active. Played sports and loved the outdoors. He was a hunter, fisherman, hiker, biker, RVer, ATVer, and finally a scooterer.
He is survived by his son, Thomas (Brenda) Larson, of Casa Grande, Arizona and daughter, Jodi (Andy) Slankard, of Ontario, Canada, his 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Terry will be held 3:00 pm Friday, December 3 at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home with a visitation one half hour prior to Services. Military Honors by the Brainerd American Legion and the V.F.W. Color Guard.
