Thomas Jerome Kasmirski, age 60, died peacefully in the arms of his wife, Cindy on October 19th, 2020 at their home on North Long Lake after a courageous battle with cancer.
Tom was born in St. Paul on January 22, 1960. He graduated from North St. Paul High School in 1978 and worked at 3M until he retired to his beloved North Long Lake. He also worked at Reeds Sporting Goods, Gander Mountain, and Super One Liquor.
Tom was an avid duck hunter, MN Wild fan, and was the best storyteller of his experiences around the campfire. His infectious laugh will be missed by all as it was “one of a kind.”

He was preceded in death by his dad, Richard (Jerry) Kasmirski; his beloved dog, Maddie and James Stronge.
A memorial service for Tom will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. A visitation will be for one hour prior to the service on Saturday. A private burial service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be left to the Masonic Cancer Clinic at the University of Minnesota.
