Wyatt John Herron

Wyatt John Herron, 19, of Brainerd, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022, at his home.

A Celebration of Wyatt's life will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Interment will be held at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley at 2:00pm.  Wyatt’s family and friends will gather on September 18, 2022, from 3-5pm at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home for a visitation.

Wyatt was born May 8, 2003, in Brainerd, the son of John and Jessica (Storm) Herron. Although school wasn’t his favorite place, he certainly enjoyed going and chatting with friends and participating on the trap shooting team. He graduated in 2021.  Wyatt was a kind soul who was always willing to lend a hand.  He was a great older brother who protected his sister from his brothers’ antics. He loved to hunt and looked forward to the annual trips to the cabin for deer hunting and with his grandparents to bird hunt.  Wyatt was always up for any experience with one of his good friends.

He will be dearly missed by his parents, Jessica and John; siblings, Cole, Haley, and Chase; grandparents, Lisa and Jay Storm, John Herron, and Sharon (Bernie) Hazelton; aunts and uncles, Nick Storm, Tyler Storm, Ashley Storm, Lacy Herron, and Lester Van Horn; cousin, Aurora Addison; special family friends, Brandon Leitold (and family) and Paul Persons (and family); and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.

Memorials are preferred to the Brainerd Warriors Trap Shooting Team.
