Pre-Funding Options

All of our pre-funding is set up in an Irrevocable Funeral Trust Account. 

We have 2 different insurance companies we are currently working with; National Guardian Life and ELCO (Employees Life Company - Mutual). We have policies available with and without health questions and we have a licensed life insurance agent on staff.

Once money is placed into one of these accounts the funds will no longer be considered an asset for the person whose services are being planned. 

All of these policies will receive interest up to the date they are redeemed and there are no penalties on any of these policies at the time of death. Once funds are set up they can only be used toward funeral services for the person listed on the policy or certificate. You can pre-fund all or part of the funeral service costs. Many people have multiple pre-funding policies. 

If you have an existing life insurance policy it may be eligible to be assigned to the funeral home and then would no longer be considered an asset.

We will go through all of your funeral plans with you and give you an estimate of all costs.
